Dr. Sergey Timonin,

Sergey Timonin works with the team A on the analysis of national and regional levels and trends in routinely reported cause-specific mortality, and on the examination of behavioral and biomedical risk factors from a number of epidemiological studies conducted in Russia and elsewhere. Another part of work is connected with the estimation of the geographical accessibility of the Russians to the treatment of acute MI. Sergey is also involved in the analysis of cause-of-death data quality in Russia and its regions.

Sergey received his PhD degree in geography from Lomonosov Moscow State University, 2013, and has been additionally trained in demography and epidemiology.
